They're at it again. And if the
FDA and the
DEA have their way (and they always do), drugs needed for
chronic care
will be harder to obtain and subject to tremendous price increases.
This will impact the elderly population more than any other segment of
the US, and will create more opportunities for the illegal underground
drug trafficking and dealing trades, which become increasingly violent by the day.
And
this is all purportedly in the interest of either protecting the
American Public from fraudulent or knock-off drugs from Canada,
Mexico
and other countries, or in the interest of "heating up" (more
employment for government law enforcement) the notoriously unsuccessful,
violent, costly and obviously futile "
War On Drugs."
